Torvi is arguably one of the amazing characters in the Vikings series. She has often faced terrible situations and, no matter how she goes about it, she always manages to position herself favorably.
Torvi is first the wife of Jarl Borg, who is at odds with Ragnar Lothbrok . One of the deplorable moments she had to endure was witnessing the assassination of her husband. This grisly execution is done by Ragnar. After that, she gave birth to Guthrum. She is also forced to marry Erlendur who is very abusive and manipulative.
But Torvi kills Erlendur . She then decides to live with Björn and both will have two children. When Björn broke up with Torvi, she bonds with her brother Ubbe . They marry and she converts to a Christian after King Alfred solicits him. She did this to survive.
Torvi is more than an ordinary girl. She is a ruthless warrior and close friend of Lagertha . She is able to do the best things for the people she cares about since she is very loyal.

This character is manifested during the time she helped Lagertha. She fights for the benefit of her loved ones, but she acts in her own way.
Björn told her one day that he appreciates the way she raises her children. She wants her kids to be happy with their dad, even if he's not a role model parent. She chooses to present her husband in a favorable light, even if she has no reason to do so.

She supports her husband Ubbe when he converted to Christianity. Not everyone consents to her choice, but Torvi does what she deems to be right. In the end, it helps their cause with King Alfred. When a family member or friend needs her, she is always ready to do what is asked of her.

He's the friend everyone wants. If you are her friend, she will fight without limits for you, sacrificing her life. Torvi is simply wonderful!
