King Horik comes to Kattegat again and suggests that Ragnar renew their pact with Jarl Borg to make King Ecbert pay. Aslaug doesn't like this idea and tells her husband. Siggy still wishes to regain her position and sleeps with Horik's son to teach him the art of love. Upon her return, Lagertha is beaten by her new husband for offering to help Ragnar and giving her son permission to stay with his father. After all the repeated lowerings of her alcoholic husband, she finally manages to stab him in the eye. And one of his men finishes the job by cutting off his head, under the amazed eyes of Lagertha. Under Ragnar's command, Rollo and some battlers detain Jarl Borg's men and set fire to the barn where they were lodged during their habitation in Kattegat.
