To celebrate their agreement with Ragnar, King Ecbert and his whole family land in Kattegat. Horik asks Floki to knock someone out to show him that he deserves his trust. So, Floki chooses Torstein. Horik entrusts him with his strategy to assassinate Ragnar, Aslaug, Lagertha and their children. Horik commands Siggy to eliminate Ragnar's children by making her promise to marry him in return. Athelstan teaches Ragnar the Our Father . Helpers of King Horik land in Kattegat and King Horik and his son bring an affront to the people of Ragnar. Arrived in the room, Horik learns that Torstein is not assassinated and that Floki and Siggy were always faithful to Ragnar. Lagertha knocks out King Horik's wife and Ragnar's soldiers murder King Horik's children, but exempts the eldest. Ragnar eliminates King Horik and Bjorn, takes the Kings Sword back from King Horik's home, and sends the servants away.
