Ragnar refuses to attack Jarl Borg in Kattegat, so he hatches a plan to drive Jarl Borg and his men out of the village. Ragnar, Bjorn and his warriors enter the village in the middle of the night to damage the reserves. This triggers the wrath of Jarl Borg. Ragnar and his Vikings win the battle, and Jarl Borg flees Kattegat. Ragnar's troupe returns to Kattegat, and they have elected Bjorn to sacrifice a prisoner to thank the Gods. Ragnar decides to go to a seer to confess that he still loves Lagertha and he wants Lagertha and Aslaug to all become his wives. King Ecbert uses Athelstan to fully understand pagan beliefs. Lagertha agrees that her son Bjorn stays with his father Ragnar. Then, a warrior from Wessex comes to Kattegat to inform Ragnar that after he left, Ecbert's soldiers attacked Horik's soldiers.
