Four years later, Ragnar and his new wife Aslaug have had two sons and are expecting a third child. Ragnar makes a speech to his people and announces that they will raid West, along with King Horik and Jarl Borg. Rollo returns home after being missing for four years. Siggy finds him and tries to convince him to ask Ragnar for forgiveness. Ragnar forgives him, but he does not take his brother downhill. King Horik dismisses Jarl Borg. The enraged Jarl Borg again offers Rollo to betray Ragnar, but he no longer accepts. Ragnar takes Æthelstan with him on the raid. During the raid, a storm took Ragnar's troop to an unknown land, they are quickly attacked. And they captured two warriors. Æthelstan interrogates the two warriors, and discovers that they are men of Ecbert, King of Wessex.
