Who is Kwenthrith?
A native and resident of Mercia, England, Kwenthrith served as a princess before becoming Queen Regent of Mercia. Her name Kwenthrith taken from "Cwenthryth" actually means "queen of peace".
As a reminder, Kwenthrith had a hard and tragic life, being only a child, she was sexually abused by her uncle Brihtwulf. This abuse greatly influenced her personality and as an adult, she took it upon herself to show her dominance over men. Being the daughter of the late King Offa, Kwenthrith is among the pretenders to the throne of Mercia.

Princess Kwenthrith is a woman endowed with strength and determination, she is ready to do anything to achieve her goals.
Despite her femininity which has been crushed and defiled, she has been able to impose herself and take her place in a masculine world which leaves no place for women. Even if she discovered sexual pleasure through the rape of her uncle, Kwenthrith greatly appreciates the company of men, and she hardly deprives herself of the pleasures of the flesh. Unfortunately, the abuse suffered in her childhood makes her an unstable person who is suspicious and behaves strangely in public.
