Gisla took the place of Princess and Duchess. She is Rollo's wife. They have a daughter, Celsa and two sons, one is called William and the other Marcellus. She has five nephews, Bjorn, Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd and Ivar. She also has a great-niece, named Siggy and also a brother-in-law, Ragnar. Gisla appears in 16 episodes in the series Vikings . Her first appearance is in season 3 , episode seven Paris and her last appearance is in season 4 , episode seventeen La grande armee .

The King of West Francia Charles the Simple is his father. Gisla is immediately treated like a doll, she is more involved in the organization of the Kingdom and much more talented than her father. After Charles retired, his adviser, Count Odo suggested a marriage to Gisla, which she declined. But she's made it clear that if he can secure the city's insurance, she'll be forever grateful. Nevertheless, according to custom, Gisla became engaged to Rollo.

Gisla is played by Morgane Polanski. She was born on January 20, 1993 in Paris, France. She is the daughter of director Roman Polanski and actress Emmanuelle Seigner. Morgane Polanski has already appeared in some films, but she only really started her acting career in 2015, in the Vikings series. Alongside her cinematic career, she is also a model.
