A seer lets Earl Haraldson know that Ragnar has a desire to kill him. Thus, he resolves to give a warning to Ragnar and his village. By attacking the Vikings, he made Ragnar suffer by making him seriously injured. The latter surrenders so that his family can flee. But he does not wait to escape at the slightest opportunity and to be treated by Floki. At the same time, Haraldson tortures Ragnar's brother (Rollo) after imprisoning him. This all happens after Haraldson's daughter's wedding ceremony.
