Sweden is Ragnar's new destination to make peace with the Jarl Borg. The latter and the king therefore propose a new alliance to King Vikings. Ragnar's discovery in Gotaland brings him to his encounter with Aslaug, a mysterious young woman. Parallel to Kattegat, Lagertha faces an epidemic threatening the Viking population.
