In most ancient civilizations, the snake reserves meanings that relate to everyday life.
Among the poisonous animals, Ouroboros is the very well-known and most expressive type of snake for the Vikings.
From the coiled shape and with the bitten tail, Ouroboros comes from the Greek terms: “bear” and “boros” which literally means “tail” and “to eat”. To enjoy its magical power, Ouroboros is the subject of a tattoo model for the Celts. And this applies to both men and women. This style of tattoo remains to the present day.

Afterwards, he surrounds the girl's encampment eating his own tail. Ragnar neutralizes him and marries Pora and then conceives a son with a woman who goes by the name Kraka. This son was born with eyes that look like a white snake eating his tail. He was later named Sigurd Snakeeye.
