Olaf and Harald's soldiers destroy the walls of Kattegat. Despite this, Ivar manages to defend himself and traps Bjorn. Magnus is killed by Ivar's captain. Bjorn announces to the citizens that Ivar is their enemy. Ivar kills all the men who disobeyed his order. Then, at night, Freydis goes to the side of the attackers and tells them that there is a secret door. At dawn, a second attack begins in the Kattegat compound. Ivar's armies can no longer defend themselves and are easily defeated. Harald saved Bjorn's life, which caused his injury. Freydis confesses to Ivar her betrayal, Ivar strangles her to death. When Bjorn and Hvitserk went to the throne room, Ivar was gone. So, Bjorn is declared king by Olaf. Lagertha and Ubbe also return to Kattegat. But Bjorn has a vision reminding that it's not the end yet.
