With the election of the King to rule over all of Norway decided, the Kings and Jarls of Norway meet in Harald's Territory in an effort to finalize the election. King Olaf is confident about the outcome of the election. He wants Bjorn to be the ruler of all the kings and all the Jarls who have come forward while on his side, Bjorn has to deal with the problems he is facing given Olaf's captivity.
Meanwhile, Ivar's thirst for revenge doesn't drop a notch. He has no intention of letting another person sit on the throne . He turns his gaze to Russia where he will create alliances. Having already conceived a well-drawn plan in his head, he helps Igor to get rid of Oleg's rule in order to become the leader he is destined to become.
Hvitserk, on the other hand, sinks and drowns himself more in drugs and no longer has all his senses. Merchants come to report to Ubbe how Ivar went to the Russian Vikings to get their support.
For her part, Lagertha must settle her worries , even if the loss of a loved one affects her somewhat. His village has been in turmoil since the bandits banished by Bjorn set their sights on the people of the region.
