A rebellious farmer turned king, the Viking Ragnar Lothbrok is deeply thirsty for conquest, and nothing has been able to quench his thirst. He returns to the coasts of Wessex to claim the lands that King Ecbert has promised him. But that was not enough for him. Wanting even more land, he decided to challenge the empire of Charlemagne. Going up the Seine, King Ragnar pushes his drakkars to the walls of Paris and makes them tremble knowing that he is taking a lot of risks. Within his troops, discord takes place. Tempted by more lenient lands, as well as other more pleasant ways of life, some willingly give up war. Others, on the other hand, are holding on and are not ready to lay down their arms.
